TuesdayI’ve always wanted to die.

Now, I mean this in a true fashion. I do not wish to harm myself or others. But, being a wretched mess does make it a bother to live. To be told constantly, “You’re going to die” does not make me want to trudge on. However, God makes me live on. He wants me to experience something, but I haven’t a clue what it is. Being forced to live in a prison, that is my home, I cannot enjoy life outside.

A rather hazily voice echoed my name.

I saw my mother.

It was warm and sunny. My father and mother were laughing. Smiling. Enjoying each other’s presence. My father, for once, was actually smiling.

Dammit, as much as I hated to admit it, my father had a very nice smile.
